Software Frameworks
Software frameworks include the open source tools which are employed by the I.T. team of Evolvus to meet specific requirements of the clients.

Some of the tools used by our teams are:

  • Chemistry Development Kit (CDK)
    • Java based open source chemoinformatics package with code reaching from QSAR descriptor calculations to 2D and
      3D model building.

  • Optical Structure Recognition Application (OSRA)
    • OSRA is a utility designed to convert graphical representations of chemical structures, as they appear in journal
articles, patent documents, textbooks, trade magazines etc., into SMILES or SD files.

  • Open Babel
    • Open Babel is a chemical toolbox designed to speak the many languages of chemical data. It allows anyone to search,
convert, analyse, or store data from molecular modeling, chemistry, solid-state materials, biochemistry, or related areas.

  • PDF Box
    • The Apache PDFBox library is an open source Java tool for working with PDF documents.
